Policies

In order to keep our program running smoothly under the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, please take note of the following policies.

Unclaimed Orders

Orders placed and not picked up will be donated to the local food bank or comparable agency the following morning.  If you forget, please call us as soon as you remember.  We will send you a monthly reminder for orders and pick ups if you sign up for email reminders on our home page (bottom). There is no refund for unclaimed orders.

Deliveries

Our delivery service is provided by volunteers who receive no compensation for mileage.  We ask that you use this service only as an absolute last resort.  Customers who abuse this service will no longer receive delivery.

Deliveries will occur after 10:00 am and could be as late as 4pm.  We cannot guarantee a time, so we ask that you ensure someone will be home to accept the delivery.  If no one is home, the bag will be either be left in a suitable location (considering weather and temperature, and the produce in the bag) or donated to the food bank.  Repeat customers not home for delivery will not be eligible for future delivery.  Our volunteers can only deliver to the door.  They cannot enter a residence or put produce away. Please provide your full address and phone number where you can be reached.

Payment

Payment is by cash or Paypal only.  We do not accept personal cheques.
