Welcome to the Georgian Good Food Box Program!

The Georgian Good Food Box is a non-profit buying club that purchases fresh fruits and vegetables for distribution in Southern Georgian Bay monthly.

Because we purchase the produce wholesale, the cost and quality are far better than that which you would purchase in a traditional grocery store. In the winter months, our large box is worth about $25 retail, and you get it for $18!!

(There is a small additional charge for online orders)

Clearview Clarification for August

We have a service update, please read below!

Orders are being accepted at Knit and Kaboodle in Stayner (beside the Service Ontario office), for in person, exact cash payments. All libraries in Clearview remain closed to the public, so this is the only location where you can place a cash payment.

Pick up for all Clearview orders (Stayner, Creemore and New Lowell) will occur in Stayner at the Town Gazebo, beside the TD bank.

If you have any questions or concerns with your orders or pick up for Clearview, please contact Ted at 705-970-7737

We apologize for the confusion.

Important Order Information

We encourage all our customers to use Paypal for orders

Information on how to place an order is on our website, www.ggfb.ca. Look under Orders.

If you are unable to use Paypal, orders will be accepted at the following library branches only (all other order sites are closed):

  • Collingwood
  • Wasaga Beach

For Clearview orders (Stayner, Creemore and New Lowell), in person orders are being accepted at Knit and Kaboodle in Stayner (beside Service Ontario).  Note all libraries in Clearview are closed to the public.

When ordering at a library please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Bring your exact change payment in your own envelope with the following information written on it:
    • Full name, phone number and email address
    • Number of boxes ordered, amount enclosed ($18/box)
    • Where you will be picking up
  • Wear a mask and follow the library procedures for entry
  • Deposit your completed envelope into our order box.

Please note—its very important that you bring your own envelope already completed with exact change.  Library staff cannot provide an envelope, pen or change.  Thank you in advance for following these guidelines and ensuring we are able to resume safe service.

Important Pick up Information

All orders are being packed in Wasaga beach for the time being.  This means there may be slight delays in transporting bags to each of our pick up locations, we ask for your patience.

Pick up will occur at these three locations:

  • Wasaga Beach Recplex, 10:30am-12:30pm, front doors (no indoor access)
  • Stayner Town Gazebo beside the TD Bank 11am-12:30pm (this includes orders for Stayner, Creemore and New Lowell).
  • Collingwood Legion back parking lot 11:30-2pm (no indoor access), or 72 Raglan Street after 2pm.

At this time the following pick up locations are closed:

  • All school locations
  • Wasaga Beach Community Church evening pick up
  • Creemore and New Lowell (orders can be picked up in Stayner)

All locations will utilize a curbside pick-up model.  Please do not get out of your vehicle, and wear a mask if you are able.  A volunteer will confirm your name and number of bags ordered and place them in your trunk.

We encourage all customers to be prompt in picking up their order, as produce will not fare well in hot conditions (nor will volunteers!).  If you anticipate an issue with pick up, please contact us to discuss further.

If you wish to pay ahead for the following month when you pick up in August, please bring the following:

  • Bring your exact change payment in your own envelope with the following information written on it:
    • Full name, phone number and email address
    • Number of boxes ordered, amount enclosed ($18/box)
    • Where you will be picking up
  • Deposit your completed envelope into our order box (will be located outside)

We cannot make change or provide envelopes or writing materials at this time.

Thank you for your patience as we resume our modified service.  We appreciate your support and understanding!
